Urban Fly Fishing on the Kelvin

My latest review is a great personal site from the Glasgow in Scotland. This site consists of the website itself, plus linked blog site from the sites author.

The site is as the title suggests all about Fly fishing on the River Kelvin, in Glasgow which the author claims is the ultimate in Urban Fly fishing.

Urban Fly Fishing on the Kelvin is really well set out, with info on the river and the club that controls the fishing rights on the river. As well as information on this there are some good tips too on fly fishing this particular river and fly fishing in general. Not only this but there a great
page on the gear and tackle that is well worth reading.

There is a large photo album to look at as well as a link page to other good Scottish and fly fishing sites.

As mentioned earlier in the review and on the home page of Urban Fly Fishing, the site should also be viewed in conjunction with the blog, which takes the form of an online diary of the webmaster, and this is well worth a look as it is well written like the main site with a good spot of humour. It is a busy blog in itself with comments from visitors and is regularly updated by the author, and as with many blogs has links to some other interesting ones on the net.

Both the site and the blog are well designed and easy to read, with some great images and random rotating banners that really suit the site and its theme. If you have not visited either yet and your interested in fishing then I suggest you pay them a visit.
