Ogmore River Type of Site: Regional

The Ogmore River site is about the Ogmore River in Wales as the name would suggest, with details of the Ogmore Anglers Association to boot.

The site is suberbly detailed on the fishing done on the river, with excellent details of fly fishing knots, river maps & photos. There is an astounding amount of content and information on the site, including a personal catch log and reports from the site owner, which is always good to see.

Additionally the site has got members photos posted on the site, which can easily be added to and quite a few hits and tips too. One nice touch to the site was the collection of old fishing advertisements from days gone by.

The site is also very well presented, with easy navigation around the site. Another thing that impressed me was the great detail on the maps of the river, which also linked nicely to photos of the river.

I can find no real fault in the site itself, perhaps some may find the sound effects on some of the pages irratating, but I felt they were used well and added to the pages that they were used on. I.e lapping water on pages with shots of the river.

This is easily one of the best local sites I have seen and I thoroughly recommend any fishing enthusiast to check it out.
