Historical Angling Site is Latest Specimen Award Winner
Posted by: fishingfan on Sunday, February 28, 2010 (18:15:11) (1307 Reads)
The latest Specimen Award winning website is an interesting one, being a departure from the normal fishing websites out there.
This one an educational website which focuses on the Medieval sporting topics of hunting, fishing, fowling, and hounds. The site "The Medieval Sportsman's
Compendium of Knowledge"
It has a dedicated angling section with links to books, webpages and articles on medieval fishing, including downloadable electronic versions of books of the era.
Worth a look if you are interested in angling history.
