It recently set up www.artfulangler.co.uk for myself and cousin who is an excellent caricature artist and, of course, a keen Angler.....So if you fancy making fun of yourself, a friend and the fish then let us know and he will draw you!!!

Artful Angler is still growing, and other features include:

Fishing logos, banners and cartoons....
Website promotions on the homepage - Phil The Fish....
Angler interaction - catch reports, forum and hotspots....
You can add your own fishing holiday and tackle shop adverts and websites for public viewing....
Fish profiles - with a special feature on Great White Sharks....

As my site is still fairly new I am always looking for ways to promote it......

Artful Angler is getting plenty of hits but I want more! ....

Any thoughts ? ... know of any other websites similar to yours..........?

I have tried submitted the site to the two links you provided .. I am not sure if the first one worked ... it seemed to get through ok .... I was unable to sign in to add the site as a link ? .... can I use the same username and password as I have for the forum ? ...

Snowdonia ... Have never been there myself but heard its a great spot!.

Snowdonia...It is a great spot, but I'd recommend taking the train up Snowdon, I'm still suffering 3 days later after hiking up and down it! Worth it for the views though, they are spectacular.

Will make a visit to snowdon! I guess have always taken places like that (and lake district) for granted as they are so close. I have lived in NZ and Aus. Some great walks in NZ !!!

I'd recommend both Snowdon and the Lake District, both have some great views etc. Bet there were some really great walks in NZ, have heard there are some good fishing too!

yeh ... loads of walking in NZ ... milford track ! amazing. Loads of fishing too ... particularly fly fishing. Some good deep sea as well.

I have changed colouring a little on my homepage, if you have any thoughts about the layout ... content ... etc ... then let me know.

Have not forgotten about the review, unfortunately am stuck in the middle of a long jury service. Will add when I get some time.

Like the overall layout of the site, and you seem to have some interesting stuff there, liked the Great White Shark stuff, hopefully you'll get more catch reports and venues as the sites continues to grow.

Thanks for the review of Artful Angler. I sorted out that Throop fisheries error that happened in the where to fish section.

To make the fish profiles abit more interactive I have added a post / view comments on each fish. Take a look as I would like your thoughts. I need to make it abit more obvious!!, but the general development is there.

I added the Great White section as a little extra, mainly because of my fascination with sharks!. I lived in Australia for a while in a place called Coogee - loads of sharks lived off there! - even in sydney harbour they reckon are great whites.

Anymore ideas for Artful Angler you have let me know. Always good to get feedback, especially from yourself because you probably see various fishing sites.

Added a reply on your forum, glad you managed to sort out the fisheries error. Be looking to add a couple more venues during the week.
